IF-4078 controllers in wall-mounted housing
Controllers
The IF-4078 controller in the wall-mounted housing collects data from connected Interflex terminals and Wiegand readers and transmits the data in real time to the host system for time recording and access control. It sends booking decision back to the terminals or Wiegand readers. When installed in a secure area, it is protected against sabotage and tampering. If the housing is opened without authorization, then a monitoring contact sends an alarm to the higher-level IF-6040 access control system. The controller is easy to install and can be integrated into an Ethernet network. If the host system is offline, the controller works locally, since it stores all data that are needed for offline operation. The IF-4078 is used as the connecting link between up to 16 slave terminals and the higher-level host system. It can address four third-party Wiegand terminals and twelve other Interflex terminals, such as the IF-800. In addition, subordinate time, access or contact terminals from Interflex can also be controlled. The IF-4078 controller is equipped with various standard interfaces as well as three bus interfaces.
