Focus on work safety and precision
LTB Leitungsbau GmbH plays a leading role in Europe in the construction, maintenance, development and planning of pipelines. Its unique selling point is the holistic planning including structural analysis, engineering services, electrical engineering as well as line planning. Multi-year national and international projects are precisely planned with due regard for the protection of employees, the environment and the population. Detailed project planning and implementation are carried out in compliance with the strictest safety specifications. At the company’s headquarters in Radebeul, both project and organization-related processes are interlinked. To ensure that planning and project processes run reliably and smoothly, LTB is investing in the new construction of its corporate headquarters, including its security and access infrastructure
LTB invests in new building
On the occasion of the new construction of the company headquarters in Radebeul, Interflex, as LTB’s existing service provider, is commissioned to implement a system that will both control access and record the working hours of employees in the future. “With Interflex, we are also implementing our high security requirements in terms of access control and time recording,” says Heinrich Luttmann, Head of Process and Procedure Management. In addition to the core functions of access control and time recording, the new overall system will also control the intrusion alarm system and the canteen data collection system.
Good in time
Thanks to Interflex’s experience in working with partners and external companies, LTB is able to put the new system into operation in time for the inauguration of the new company headquarters. The IF-6040 software handles functions such as the assignment of access rights, the control of access and time recording hardware, and records working times that are automatically transferred to the SAP payroll system. Employee badges are designed, personalized and created with the IF-6040. Employees use the badges to open doors and make convenient cashless payments in the cafeteria. The intrusion alarm system is also integrated into the new system. For this, it is first defined which device secures which area, even if several areas are controlled by the same reader. Today, the intrusion alarm system can be armed or unlocked directly at the Interflex terminal, without this being visually visible on the hardware. Interflex and LTB owe the successful and punctual project completion to all project participants and the close and trusting cooperation.
