Access TerminalsIF-900 DIN air

The IF-900 DIN air terminal is designed for access control and contactless personal identification using RFID cards and smartphones. This flexible security solution protects buildings and premises from unauthorized access, granting entry only to authorized individuals in designated areas. With optional covers available as accessories, the IF-900 DIN air can be used both indoors and outdoors, in industrial settings as well as architecturally sophisticated environments.

The terminal connects to the IF-6040 system via the IF-4041 gateway and reads digital keys through RFID or smartphones using NFC or Bluetooth® Low Energy. Access rights are verified either online via the IF-6040 system or offline via the gateway or directly on the device. The multi-level security concept ensures reliable access decisions, regardless of whether the system is operating online or offline (e.g., during a network outage).

Additionally, the permanent authorization list and the self-learning access control list in offline mode (with up to 1,200 entries) ensure that access remains possible even during connection issues. Door status monitoring notifications provide real-time updates on door conditions, enabling swift security measures to prevent unauthorized entry when needed. Thanks to Bluetooth® Low Energy, data is transmitted wirelessly, requiring only a power supply for the terminal. This simplifies installation and allows flexible placement of access components in both new and existing environments.
