  • No costs

    Interflex covers all expenses for your academic training during the qualification phase. This includes travel costs, hotel stays, and study materials.

  • Monthly salary

    During your qualification period, Interflex pays you a monthly gross salary of €2,500. After you complete the program, your salary will be adjusted to match your new role.

  • Long‑term perspective

    Once you’ve successfully completed your qualification, Interflex guarantees permanent employment - along with all additional Interflex benefits.

  • Application

    Use the application link to access our partner gotoitcareer.
    Important: Please complete both tests via this link.

  • Getting to know each other

    Once you’ve finished the tests, your results will be evaluated. Afterwards, gotoitcareer will conduct an initial interview with you.

  • Online Call

    Your data and results are then forwarded to us. In our first online meeting, we’ll get to know each other and clarify any open questions.

  • Feedback

    Finally, we’ll meet in person. During this meeting, you’ll get to know your location, your potential manager, and the team.

  • Offer

FAQ – Your questions about the career‑change program, answered briefly

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about switching into IT - from requirements and training to your career prospects. And if anything remains unclear, feel free to reach out to us anytime.

  • How does the application process work?

    To ensure we have enough time to get to know each other and to answer all your questions, the application process consists of four steps:

    1. Online application & tests
      Through the application link, you’ll be directed to an assessment and personality test provided by our partner gotoitcareer.
      Important: Please complete both tests using that link.

    2. Evaluation & initial conversation with gotoitcareer
      Once you’ve finished the tests, your results will be evaluated. Afterwards, gotoitcareer will conduct an initial conversation with you.

    3. First meeting with Interflex (online)
      We then receive your data and results. In an initial online meeting, we get to know each other and clarify any open questions.

    4. Second on‑site interview
      Finally, we meet in person. You’ll get to know your location, your potential manager, and the team.

  • Who are the program’s cooperation partners?

    Your career‑change journey involves three cooperation partners:

    1. Interflex – your new employer

    At the start of the program, you receive your employment contract directly from us. Throughout your entire career‑change journey, we support you with all questions and concerns. You’ll get to know various departments and key contacts, and you’ll be gradually introduced to our products, processes, and your future responsibilities.

    2. gotoitcareer – placement & application process

    gotoitcareer handles the first part of the selection process. This includes the tests, the evaluation, and an initial introductory conversation. They also serve as the interface between the university and Interflex.

    3. accadis University of Applied Sciences – your theoretical training

    Your theoretical phases take place at accadis University of Applied Sciences in Bad Homburg or partially remote. There, qualified lecturers and professors provide the theoretical foundation you’ll need for your entry into the IT field.

  • How long does the Interflex career‑change program take?

    The duration of the program depends on your future department and may vary. You’ll find an initial overview here - and all details will be discussed during your application process:
    You can generally plan for around six to eight months for your career‑change journey.

  • What support will I receive to successfully complete the career‑change program?

    Don’t worry: as the term “career change” suggests, we don’t expect you to bring any prior experience.

    Our program is designed to provide you with all the essential knowledge — both during the theoretical phases at the university and throughout your practical phases at Interflex.

    You’ll learn our workflows, processes, and products step by step. In addition, we support you with trainings, peer coaching, and workshops so that you can confidently work with our software, systems, and solutions.

    Of course, colleagues on site are always available to help you translate theoretical knowledge into hands‑on practice. For organizational matters, our HR team is there to guide you, so you can fully focus on your start into the IT world.

  • What qualification will I have after completing the program?

    You complete your qualification at accadis University in Bad Homburg, a state‑recognized university with a strong practical focus. At the end of the program, you will receive an officially certified certificate that confirms your theoretical and practical achievements and documents your successful completion of the Interflex career‑change program.

  • Are ECTS credits awarded for the qualification?

    Since this is not a traditional degree program, no ECTS credits can be awarded for the Interflex qualification. However, your completion is officially recognized through a certified certificate issued by accadis University of Applied Sciences.

  • Which benefits will I receive after completing the career‑change program?

    After successfully completing the program, you will receive our full Interflex benefits — enabling you to work freely and flexibly. You can find an overview of these benefits in our Interflex Benefits section.

    We will also be happy to explain all the advantages you already receive during the program during your introductory conversation.

  • Do I need to be willing to travel for the program?

    Yes, increased willingness to travel is required during the program. Your theoretical phases take place in Bad Homburg or remotely. In addition, you will get to know Interflex at various locations. There, we will train you and give you insights into different teams and areas of work. Some assignments in mobile working are also possible.

    Once you join Interflex after completing the program, the required level of travel will depend on the specific role. We’ll be happy to answer any questions about this during our introductory conversation.

  • What will my working hours be?

    The program is generally based on a 40‑hour workweek. During your theoretical and training phases, you will follow fixed schedules. After completing your qualification, you will join us in a full‑time position. In that role, we offer flexible working hours — and the option to work remotely at least two days per week.

  • How many vacation days do I have during the program?

    During the career‑change program, you are entitled to 20 vacation days per year based on a five‑day workweek. Your leave is planned in a way that aligns well with your theory and practice phases. Your exact entitlement may vary slightly depending on the length of your qualification.
    Once you sign your permanent contract after completing the program, you will receive 30 days of annual vacation.
