Mobile IDs with the Key AppMobile App

This allows them to check in at access control and time recording terminals using their phone instead of an RFID card. This simplifies the management and distribution of physical ID cards. Traditional, analog keys or classic identification media such as ID cards or tokens are often lost. Replacing them and changing locks can be expensive. With a smartphone as a mobile ID, the user receives the digital key virtually via the internet—rather than physically at a distribution point. This saves time and money. A digital key is especially suitable for remote locations without their own administrative department. In addition, mobile IDs are considered modern and innovative - helping your company stand out from the rest.

Key App opens doors

In the IF-6040 system, you centrally define which users receive a digital ID. These users can then register on their smartphone via a link or QR code. Alternatively, they can manually enter the registration information from the email into the app.

Mobile and encrypted

After registration by the user, the encrypted digital ID is transferred to the smartphone and securely stored in the app and renewed periodically if necessary. All connections of the app between the software system and the smartphone, as well as between the smartphone and the terminal are end-to-end encrypted. Misuse is also prevented, as the mobile ID is only valid together with the registered smartphone. Data protection is ensured because the data is stored exclusively in your IF-6040 system and no third-party cloud services are required.

Designing a custom ID layout

In the IF-6040 system, IDs for the Key App can be flexibly and precisely designed according to your corporate design specifications. The ID layouts are available for both Apple iOS and Google Android smartphones. As soon as a person is registered with Network On Mobile, the Key App automatically adjusts the ID design to the new layout. A preview of the personalized ID is always available in the system.
