Locking componentIF-281 Cylinder card

The electronic IF-281 Cylinder card replaces your conventional locking system and is the ideal solution for cost-effectively and easily meeting current security standards for various applications. Versions with standard, anti-panic, or half-cylinder provide precise solutions for almost any application. The electronic cylinder offers the highest security and is easy to install, whether on office or exterior doors. With NetworkOnCard technology, authorized persons unlock the cylinder using a card in credit card format or as a key fob, which is compatible with European Europrofile cylinder standards DIN 18252 and EN1303.

It consists of an electronic knob, a profile cylinder, and a mechanical inner knob. The electronic knob functions as a key by evaluating access permissions and granting access only to authorized persons. The very long battery life results in minimal maintenance. The IF-281 is the successor to the electronic IF-181 cylinder and is part of the new Opendor product line.

Special features

Users can easily integrate the cylinder into the IF-6040 access control system. It is available both as a NetworkOnCard version and wireless:

  • The Cylinder card reads the access permissions stored on RFID cards using NetworkOnCard technology.
  • The Cylinder air reads the digital key on cards via RFID/NFC or on smartphones via NFC or Bluetooth® Low Energy and the Interflex Key app (Android, iOS). The stored access rights are evaluated online in real-time from the IF-6040 access control system via the IF-4041 gateway or offline in the cylinder itself.

Opendor product line

The Opendor product line is ideal for cost-effectively, easily, and wirelessly meeting current security standards for various applications. In addition to the IF-271 Door Handle, it includes the IF-241 Door Fitting, the IF-261 Cabinet Lock, and the IF-281 Cylinder. All products are available in both Card and Air versions. For the Air version, the IF-4041 gateway is additionally required to wirelessly integrate the locking system into the IF-6040 access control system.
