Creativity in Hardware Installation

In a customer project, 45 access readers needed to be installed. These readers were to be integrated into an existing housing provided by the customer, but there was no suitable installation aid available. On-site adjustment and fine-tuning of the readers by the service technician was not an option. Moreover, it would not have been clear which of the two black fields actually contained the reader.
The installation date was approaching, and a quick solution was needed. One of our Interflex service employees quickly developed a practical solution in our prototype workshop. The light guide components were milled out and precisely glued into place. Additionally, the cover was printed with the logo and a radiation symbol – no problem with the right tools and equipment. This allowed the technician to install and connect the terminal at the customer’s site quickly and easily. The customer was extremely satisfied with the professional and visually appealing result.
