You can configure the IF distributor in the large wall-mounted housing for up to eight doors. It is available with or without a power supply and, depending on the configuration, with or without an Interflex controller. You connect it to the IF-6040 access control system via Ethernet, linking the doors to the system if the distributor has a controller. To minimize on-site wiring effort, I/O controller boards are integrated into the distributor. Each board is connected to a terminal and an actuator, such as a door opener or turnstile. The input sensors can also be configured as signal, event, or counting contacts up to a maximum of 20 Hz. Additionally, each board has an output contact with a switching capacity of up to 30 V / 2 A.

The distributor is installed in a secured area to prevent sabotage and tampering. If the housing is opened without authorization, a monitoring contact sends an alarm to the higher-level system. The IF distributor, combined with the power supplies for the terminal and door opener, forms a compact, easy-to-install and maintain unit.
