The IF-281 Cylinder air electronic lock cylinder is the ideal solution for cost-effectively and easily meeting current security standards for various applications and replacing your conventional locking system. Versions with standard, anti-panic, or half-cylinder provide precise solutions for almost any application. The lock cylinder offers the highest security and is easy to install, whether on office or exterior doors. It is compatible with the European Euro profile cylinder standards DIN 18252 and EN1303.

The IF-281 Cylinder air consists of an electronic knob, a profile cylinder, and a mechanical inner knob. The electronic knob functions as a key by evaluating access authorizations and granting access only to authorized persons. Thanks to its very long battery life, it requires minimal maintenance. The IF-281 Cylinder air is part of the new Opendor product line. Together with the IF-4041 gateway and Bluetooth® Low Energy technology, it offers all the advantages of a modern wireless online system.

Users can easily integrate the lock cylinder into the IF-6040 access control system. It is available both wirelessly and as an offline version with NetworkOnCard:

  • Cylinder air reads the digital key on cards via RFID/NFC or on the smartphone via NFC or Bluetooth® Low Energy and the Key app (Android, iOS). The stored access rights are evaluated online in real-time from the IF-6040 access control system via the IF-4041 gateway or offline in the lock cylinder itself.
  • Cylinder card reads the access authorizations stored on RFID cards via NetworkOnCard technology.

Opendor product line

The Opendor product line is ideal for cost-effectively, easily, and wirelessly meeting current security standards for various applications. In addition to the IF-281 Cylinder, it includes the IF-241 Door Fitting, the IF-261 Cabinet Lock, and the IF-271 Door Handle. All products are available in both card and air versions. For the air version, the IF-4041 gateway is additionally required to wirelessly integrate the locking system into the IF-6040 access control system.
