Interflex IF-900: New Wireless Access Control
The IF-900 access terminals from Interflex offer wireless access control via Bluetooth or RFID. Quick to install, highly flexible - ideal for remote doors, rental spaces, and industrial vehicles. Enhanced security with minimal effort.

In an era where businesses are becoming increasingly flexible and mobile, securing buildings and sensitive areas is more challenging than ever. Remote doors, temporary spaces, or industrial vehicles are often difficult to integrate into existing access control systems. Interflex addresses this with its new IF-900 terminal series. These wireless access terminals use cutting-edge Bluetooth 6 long-range technology and proven NetworkOnCard functionality - requiring only a power supply on-site. The result: less effort, more freedom.
The IF-900 terminals come in two versions: “Air” for online communication via Bluetooth Low Energy, and “Card” for offline use with access rights stored on RFID badges. Both versions communicate wirelessly via the IF-4041 gateway or operate entirely offline, while still integrating seamlessly into the IF-6040 access control system. This eliminates the need for complex data cabling or bus systems like RS-485. It not only reduces installation costs but also enables easy retrofitting - even in hard-to-reach or heritage-protected buildings.
Why does this matter for businesses?
Many companies face the challenge of securing new or hard-to-access entry points – without major construction work or high costs. The IF-900 terminals offer a flexible and cost-effective solution. Whether for new buildings, existing facilities, or rented spaces – the terminals can be installed quickly and easily, without tearing down walls or laying cables.
In addition, a three-level security concept ensures reliable access decisions – even in the event of network or signal failure. Firmware updates are delivered automatically over the air. Centralized management via the IF-6040 system makes assigning access rights simple and transparent.
Practical solutions for various needs
Parking management:
With IF-900 DIN air terminals installed at barriers, companies can control access using RFID badges or smartphones. Barriers can also be opened remotely from a control center - without data cables, just with power to the barrier. This makes parking management simple, secure, and cost-efficient.
Rented spaces:
In rented office or production spaces, structural modifications are often not allowed. IF-900 air terminals communicate wirelessly with the gateway and only require a power supply. This enables secure access control without drilling or cable installation – ideal for temporary or rotating rental spaces.
Industrial vehicles:
The rugged IF-900 W02 card terminal is mounted directly on forklifts. Only authorized drivers can start the vehicle. Access rights are managed centrally in the IF-6040 system and can be easily adapted to shift schedules or driver changes. This increases safety and traceability in warehouse operations.
Security and convenience in one system
The IF-900 terminals continuously monitor sensors and control relays at doors or barriers - even if the wireless connection is interrupted. This enhances security by, for example, immediately detecting open doors. Access rights are managed easily with a few clicks in the IF-6040 system. Updates and patches are distributed automatically, minimizing maintenance efforts.
IF-900 - The new freedom in access control
With the IF-900 series, Interflex offers a modern, flexible, and secure solution for today’s access control challenges. Wireless installation, high security, and easy management make the IF-900 terminals the ideal choice for companies looking to expand or modernize their security infrastructure - without major effort or cost.
