Interflex Customer Solution Day at BASF
On September 30, 2025, the Interflex Customer Solution Day took place at the BASF’s event venue. As a long-standing Interflex customer and a global leader in the chemical industry, BASF provided an impressive venue that offered the perfect setting for a diverse and informative day of events.

More than 80 customers and prospects from a wide range of industries accepted the invitation to this special event in Ludwigshafen, which was held for the second time following its successful debut in 2024 at ZEISS. After a welcome address by Interflex CEO Bernhard Sommer, attendees enjoyed a varied program featuring numerous concise and engaging presentations in a storytelling format. Topics included the latest product and solution innovations in access control and visitor management, Interflex Cloud Services, time management, workforce planning, and offerings in service, support, and feedback management. Interflex experts showcased practical customer examples and solutions throughout.
Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with Interflex experts and partners at various themed stations. Highlights included the Interflex hardware demo tower, biometric solutions from TBS, license plate recognition from viGuard, and long-range readers and depot systems from Deister Electronics. These stations provided ample space for networking, sharing experiences, and discussing individual questions.
In the afternoon, participants were treated to a special highlight: an exclusive guided tour of BASF’s impressive 10 km² production site in Ludwigshafen. During the nearly 50-minute ride, guests gained fascinating insights into the cutting-edge production processes and complex operations at one of the world’s most significant chemical industry locations. This rare behind-the-scenes look was highly appreciated by attendees.
The event not only offered Interflex customers an ideal platform to discover current trends and solutions but also to provide direct feedback to Interflex. This was addressed not only during the presentations but also at the themed stations. Participants particularly valued the successful combination of concise keynote talks and informal conversations. The opportunity to actively contribute to the development of new products and solutions was also highlighted as a major benefit.
“The Customer Solution Day is an important opportunity and platform for us to understand our customers’ trends and needs in detail and to work together on future-ready solutions,” said Bernhard Sommer, CEO of Interflex. “Our customers are at the center of everything we do - we develop closely aligned with their needs and involve them intensively in our processes. Feedback management is key to our success. It enables us to invest purposefully and deliver tailored solutions that truly simplify our customers’ daily work.”
With the Customer Solution Day at BASF, Interflex once again demonstrated its commitment to customer proximity and its philosophy of using personal dialogue as a driver for innovation and sustainable success. The event clearly showed how valuable direct exchange and practical insights are for shaping future-ready solutions together.
