Certified Security: IF-6040 Passes Penetration Test

The access control and security solution IF-6040, along with Interflex’s new mobile time recording app TeamTime, meet the highest standards of IT security. As part of a recent penetration test conducted by imbus AG, an independent and certified testing institute, both the software and the native app were thoroughly examined for vulnerabilities - with convincing results: a high level of IT security was confirmed once again. A clear signal of the reliability of these tested solutions.

This confirmation comes at a time when cybersecurity is more critical than ever for businesses. According to the latest Bitkom study 2025 (in German), 59% of German companies now consider cyberattacks a threat to their very existence. As a result, spending on IT security is rising sharply. In Germany alone, the market is expected to grow by more than 10% in 2025, reaching €11.1 billion.

The tests simulated real-world attack scenarios—scenarios that, according to Bitkom, are increasingly becoming a reality for companies. The results confirm: IF-6040 and the TeamTime app offer robust security.

TeamTime is a native mobile time tracking app available for iOS and Android. It enables employees without a fixed workplace to participate in time management processes from anywhere, at any time. The development focused heavily on user experience, accessibility, and security. The app supports OpenID Connect and Single Sign-On and complies with BITV 2.0 requirements.

As part of its initial security assessment, TeamTime was thoroughly tested for potential vulnerabilities. The results confirm that the new solution is well-equipped to handle current threats.
