The IF-800VP Terminal, which is equipped with protection against vandalism, is designed for access control and contactless person identification using an RFID credential indoors and outdoors and for mounting on wall surfaces. The aluminum housing protects against vandalism and ingress of water and is thus especially suited for installation in areas that cannot be monitored visually, e.g. outdoor areas. It is protected against external mechanical influences in accordance with EN 50102 IK08. In addition to granting access only for authorized persons, they also monitor door statuses and sensors installed at locks, barriers and doors. In addition to credentials, key fobs also serve as identification media. Optionally, access can also be granted using a smartphone and Bluetooth® Low Energy. In power-saving mode, the terminals consume less than half the energy that the previous model did. The IF-800VP is best installed in an unsecured area next to locks, barriers or doors and can be operated either on a controller or a time recording terminal. This allows the devices to write NetworkOnCard rights for offline terminals onto RFID media. The IF-800VP can be flexibly integrated into new or existing system environments.
