Interflex Introduces New Solution for Evacuation Management
With Interflex’s new evacuation management solution, companies now benefit from an efficient system that provides a dynamic, real-time overview of all personnel on-site during drills or actual emergencies.

Companies classified as critical infrastructure (KRITIS) or subject to major accident regulations are required to conduct regular evacuation and fire safety drills. These exercises are typically both time-consuming and costly. Attendance is often tracked using paper lists, which offer little reliability in real emergencies when a clear overview of all individuals on the premises or in the danger zone is essential.
Interflex now offers a solution: the dynamic evacuation list.
With this new evacuation management solution, companies benefit from an efficient tool that provides a real-time overview of all personnel groups present on-site during drills or emergencies. Integrated into the IF-6040 software system, the list is automatically and continuously updated using data from visitor management, access control, and time tracking. This allows emergency coordinators at assembly points to maintain a current overview and, if necessary, search for specific individuals.
“The key advantage is that the list remains up to date, even during the evacuation,” explains Samuel Wyss, Product Manager at Interflex.
“It’s connected to the access control module and registers when someone leaves the premises and checks out at a terminal. That person is then automatically marked as absent. Printed attendance lists are a thing of the past, no more ticking off names with pen and paper. And that’s a good thing, because such lists are already outdated the moment they’re printed.”
